What to watch on Disney+

Disney+ couldn’t have launched at a better time now that the majority of us are at home. As a child I watched the Disney Channel whenever I got home from school, so when Disney+ launched I was able to take a trip down memory lane. For today’s post I wanted to share what I have in my watchlist, to maybe give you some inspiration.

Apart from watching countless episodes of Hannah Montana and Recess, I must admit I haven’t really watched anything else. I have a bunch of movies/series in my watchlist that I just haven’t gotten around to yet.

Cinderella

Of course I couldn’t subscribe to Disney+ and not have a classic Disney Princess movie on my list. I always loved a good princess film as a child, and Cinderella was one of my favourites. I watched every remake imaginable when I was younger, but you can’t beat the original.

Lilo & Stitch

I’m pretty sure that I used to own a Lilo & Stitch game on the Playstation 2 back in the day. I vaguley remember playing as Stitch, running around and collecting things. This film really takes me back to my childhood.

Finding Dory

I always adored watching Finding Nemo, I’ve seen it multiple times. However I am still yet to watch Finding Dory, so I’m definitely going to be sitting down and watching this at some point.

The Hannah Montana Movie

Hannah Montana was my favourite TV show growing up. I watched every single episode multiple times, even to this day when I’m re-watching them I remember almost every detail. So it was only appropriate that I included the movie on my list. I remember going to see this in the cinema when it was released, and my showing was almost completely sold out!

For the next few things on my list I’m not going to go into a lot of detail otherwise this post will become really long and boring.

  • Inside Out
  • High School Musical 1, 2 & 3
  • The Parent Trap
  • Honey I Shrunk the Kids
  • Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs
  • That’s So Raven
  • The Suite Life of Zack & Cody
  • Lizzie McGuire

I’d love to hear what you have on your watchlist or any films/shows that you’ve already watched and recommend. Disney is such a childhood favourite of mine and this streaming service is only £5.99 a month, so what are you waiting for!

Until Another Day x

  2. You and I have got some of the same shows and films on there. The Parent Trap, Finding Dory and both Zack and Cody and Suite Life On Deck. On top of all that I need to watch Star Wars The Clone Wars, Sister Act and Lion King (don’t ask 😂) man if Disney wasnt a decent part of anyone’s childhood then I’ve got some serious questions for them 😂

  3. I loved watching finding Nemo, finding Dory and the Cinderella movie. Now that we have grown up it doesn’t sound that exciting lol. But for me it’s always a treat to watch. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Disney+ has been welcomed with open arms in our home but unfortunately we’ve had to endure countless episodes of ‘Jessie’. It’s ok but the theme tune just stays in your head for hours on end!!!

I’m most excited to start watching star wars – I’ve basically never seen any!!!
