Birchbox – March 2018

Did March’s Birchbox meet my expectations? Read on to see which products I loved.

Recently, I signed up to a beauty subscription service called Birchbox. I watch so many YouTube videos of makeup box unvailings so was really keen to try it out for myself.

For those of you that have never heard of Birchbox, it is simply a subscription service which sends boxes direct to your front door for as little as £12.95. Each box contains items relating to beauty, including skin/body/hair and makeup. These are often ‘luxury’ sample sized products, with occasional full sized items thrown in there too.

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer Review

I had to get my hands on the most talked about concealer right now, it has even been compared to some high end brands. Read on to find out what I made of it…

Welcome back! I’ve heard tons of people talking about Makeup Revolution’s new concealer, so I had to jump on the bandwagon and find out what they hype was about. I searched long and hard to find my shade, each time I ventured into Superdrug they NEVER had my shade. Whilst waiting for my shade to appear in stock, I decided to watch a few YouTube reviews to see if I would like it, I was impressed at the amount of praise it was getting. Then out of the blue, I eventually stumbled across it…at last!!

New York Makeup Haul

On a recent trip to New York I couldn’t resist heading to Sephora and the drugstore to pick up some new makeup goodies. This is everything I bought!

I recently went on a trip of a lifetime to New York City. Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of entering the world of bright lights and the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple. Visiting New York was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had so far, it seriously is like something out of a movie scene.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless Foundation Review

Oily skin is the bane of my life at times, so a foundation which claims to combat this and reduce the appearance of pores is just what I like to see. Read on to see what I thought.

When I first heard Maybelline were coming out with a makeup line specifically for oily skin I was over the moon. As a sufferer of oily skin, it has been a struggle to find products suitable to help reduce the natural shine of my skin. This line has been out for quite some time now but I have only recently purchased it (about a 1 month ago). I didn’t want to rush into writing this review, so I could allow myself more time to give an honest opinion on the product.

REVIEW – Coco Brown 1hr Instant Tan

Being one of the palest people I know, it’s nice every once in a while to look glowy and tanned., even if it is just an illusion. Take a look at my new favourite tan.

For well over a year now I have used the Coco Brown 1 hour Instant Tan in medium and I absolutely swear by it! The tan is extremely buildable and can be used to achieve a light, subtle sun kissed glow, or a darker more intense tan. The tan works by gradually developing over a few hours, the longer you leave it on the deeper in colour the tan will be, simple! The bottle recommends: 1 hour for a light tan, 2 hours for a medium and 3 hours for a dark tan.
