Makeup & Skincare Wishlist | Part 1

I love beauty products,  I have far too many items but that doesn’t stop me from adding more to my wishlist. I’ve started a little list on my phone of products that I hope one day I will own and try out, the majority of which are high end. With new releases launching almost every single day, my list is going to be ever growing, although my bank balance most certainly will not…

Benefit 24 Hour Brow Setter – £22.50

I’ve read so many good reviews on this brow gel, apparently it sets brows like cement and holds them in place all day. My brows are not exactly bushy, they’re thinner than I’d like, but a gel that stops hairs from moving around throughout the day is really important to me.

Natasha Denona Metropolis Palette – £110.00

I know for a fact this is a product that I will never own, I would not pay that kind of extortionate price for an eyeshadow palette. Although I don’t plan on buying this, it still sits in my wish list because the shades literally scream my name…I mean a girl can dream right?

Laura Mercier Loose Translucent Setting Powder – £30.00

Along with the brow setter, this is a product that I’ve heard amazing things about. I don’t particularly use loose powders all that much, but if this is of as high a quality everyone claims it is then I would definitely convert.

Charlotte Tilbury LUSCIOUS LIP SLICK PILLOW TALK Lip kit – £38.00

This lipstick has been on my beauty radar for a while now, but I’ve just never picked it up. The shade Pillow Talk is the most iconic and talked about lipstick from her collection. Maybe one day I’ll call into my local Charlotte Tilbury counter and nab a swatch to see if this would suite my complexion.

Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner – £13.00-£17.00

I’ve wanted to add this to my collection for so long, but I don’t wear glitter all that often. Cheaper glitter liners have since dried up after I’ve neglected them, but if I was to purchase one of these I would definitely make use of it. There are so many shades to choose from that I don’t know where to begin, I’ll have to do my research with this one!

Ole Henrikson Banana Bright Eye Cream – £25.50

Ole Henrikson is a brand that is unquestionably highly rated. Their skincare range seems to cater for almost every skin condition, so of course I have some of their products on my wish list. The first of which is the Banana Bright Eye Cream. I suffer with dark circles and the occasional outbreak of eczema on my eye area, and sadly I have no idea why.

Ole Henrikson Dark Spot Toner – £18.70

So the second Ole Henrikson product is their Dark Spot Toner. This toner was first brought to my attention through the Scottish YouTuber Jamie Genevieve. Jamie absolutely swears by Ole Henrikson, and the difference in her skin since including their products into her skincare routine is phenomenal. This toner is the main product that improved her skins appearance therefore I definitely need this in my life too!

The Ordinary. Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 – £5.90

Due to the nature of this products popularity, every time I’ve tried to purchase this it has been out of stock! Over the past month or so, my skin has become a lot drier than usually, probably down to the cold and windy weather we have experienced lately in the UK. So I could do with that little boost of hydration, this little bottle apparently packs a punch, and for that price, I can’t wait to eventually get my hands on it.

Until Another Day x

  1. This is a great list, you’ve got some really good products on here! I can say that the Laura Mercier setting powder is absolutely amazing and definitely worth the price in my opinion! Also the Hyaluronic acid from The Ordinary is such a great product for the price. I use it every single day and it’s become a staple in my skincare routine! I also had dark circles under my eyes and I tried the Ole Henrikson eye cream and unfortunately it did absolutely nothing for me and was way to expensive for how small the product is. I actually use the ordinary’s hyaluronic acid serum under my eyes and that does a way better job, sometimes dark circles can be from a lack of hydration so that might work for you?

    1. I think I’m going to have to invest in the Laura Mercier powder, I haven’t heard one bad thing about it!

Every time I try to buy the Hyaluronic acid it’s sold out, I’ll have to keep my eye out!

Oh no, I’m sorry the eye cream didn’t work for you. I’ll probably give this one a miss!

      Thanks for reading x
